The Ga Central Municipal Assembly has received a significant donation of fifty thousand Ghana Cedis cheque (GHC50,000.00) from Regimanuel Construction Production Limited to support Education, Infrastructure, and Sanitation initiatives in the Municipal Education Directorate. This contribution was made possible after a stakeholders’ meeting held on June 24, 2025, where Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Emmanuel Adotey Allotey, engaged with various groups to discuss developmental challenges.

The Ghana Health has confirmed two cases of Mpox outbreak in the Greater Accra Region and as a result of this Ga Central Municipal Assembly has also recorded one case at Chantan in other to curb the spread of the disease.A meeting was held by Chief Executive, The Coordinating Director and The Health Director of the Assembly to put a team together for public Sensitization on the outbreak of the Mpox disease.
The Ga Central Municipal Health Directorate in collaboration with Anyaa Polyclinic has marked the Child Health Promotion Week under the theme “Every Child Deserves a Healthy Future; Invest in Your Child”. The training program on co-operative concept, held on 4th March, 2025, at the Ga-Central Municipal Assembly’s Conference Room, was a pivotal event that brought together poultry farmers, experts and stakeholders to discuss the benefits of co-operative concepts in their business and also to educate them on certain important things they should do and not do as poultry farmers. The program, subtitled “A Pathway to Collective Growth, aimed to educate poultry farmers on the importance of collective growth, cooperation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

On Wednesday, 12th February, 2025, the Head of Physical Planning Department of Ga Central Municipal Assembly, Mr. Moses Akuffo, led an inspection team from the Department to assess the structural integrity and siting of some buildings within the municipality. The inspection aimed at identifying buildings that may be at risk due to their location or construction and ensuring compliance with planning regulations.
