he Ga Central Municipal Assembly in collaboration with the head of Rover Mart, Mr. Rover Glover, on Friday, 26th April, 2024, auctioned some obsolete items from the Municipal storeroom to interested buyers.
The purpose for the exercise was to create enough space and depose off all obsolete items from the Assembly’s storage room. Some of the items include containers, vehicular tires, laptops, car batteries, printers, air conditioners, tonners, water closets, furniture, system units, mower and water dispensers.
Mr. Rover Glover, head of the Mart and Auctioneer for the exercise said, Ga Central Municipal Assembly employed his services to help get rid of all unserviceable items in their store room.
Speaking with one of the scrap dealers, he said, all auctioned items will be transformed into useful items and help achieve the sustainable development goal 15, which aims at ensuring a clean and healthy environment.
