During the period under review, sixty (60) PWDs were brought together and trained in income generating to improve upon their living condition which also as the core mandate of the Assembly.
The program started at 9:25am with the opening prayer from a participant. The facilitators introduced themselves followed by self-introduction by group members and the facilitators asked for the rapt attention of all the members.
The group was trained in the following products
A. Parazone preparation
B. Liquid soap preparation
The training came to a successfully end at 3:47pm, with a prayer by Madam Abena. The facilitator thanked the participant for availing themselves for the training program and hoped that the skills acquired would be put to good use since there is power in being financially independent.
In conclusion, the participant expressed their joy for the initiative by the Assembly and hoped more of such training programs would be organized. Thus, help in improving their standard of living as some mentioned that it was going to be their source of living.
