The Ga Central Municipal Assembly (GCMA) organized a comprehensive training program on data management and reporting for its Heads of Department/Unit and selected staff. The training, which took place on 31st January, 2025, aimed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge to manage data effectively.
A total of 191 staff members, comprising 104 males and 87 females, attended the training, which was facilitated by the Management Information System (MIS) Unit. The program covered various aspects of data management, including data quality dimensions, data governance, data security, and compliance.
The training also explored real-world examples of effective data management practices and lessons learned from data management failures. Participants gained a solid foundation in data management principles and practices, and were equipped to implement effective data governance and quality management strategies.
