WHAT WE DO

The Agric department in collaboration with NADMO has engaged in a tree planting exercise, also known as Tree of Life Day. The event was organized by the Assembly's Agricultural Department and brought together staff, community members, and stakeholders. The celebration began with a procession to the designated tree planting site, where participants gathered to plant various tree species. In his address, the director of Agric, Mr. Francis Mensah emphasized the significance of trees in sustaining life, highlighting their role in providing oxygen, food, and shelter. He encouraged residents to embrace tree planting and care for the environment, noting the Assembly's efforts aimed at promoting environmental conservation and sustainability. The tree planting exercise was followed by interactive sessions, where participants shared ideas on promoting environmental conservation and sustainability. The event concluded with a call to action, urging residents to take ownership of tree planting initiatives and protect the environment. Participants planted various tree species, promoting a greener and healthier environment, emphasizing the importance of environmental conservation and sustainability.
