CORE FUNCTIONS OF THE DEPARTMENT:
The Human Resource Department coordinates all human resources programs and organize staff trainings within the Assembly. It is also responsible for career development and personnel functions of the office and is headed by Human Resource Manager. Some of the functions of the Department include Recruitment, Selection and Retention of employees, Training and Capacity Building, Promotion, Human Resource Planning, Posting and Transfers, Performance Management, Compensation, Diversity and Gender Main Streaming, Code of Ethics/Discipline and ensuring the safety and welfare of staff2021 ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS OF THE DEPARTMENT
During the year 2021, the Human Resource Department was able to implement six trainings organized for staff. Eleven staff warmly received their promotion and about eight staff were posted in and out of the Assembly. The Assembly recorded one death and seven vacation of post but no retirement of staff.2022 ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS OF THE DEPARTMENT
During the year 2022, the Human Resource Department was able to implement six trainings organized for staff. Nine staff warmly received their promotion and about Seventeen staff were posted in and out of the Assembly. The Assembly recorded one death and three vacation of post and two resignations. At the end of the second quarter, the Human Resource Department was able to implement two trainings organized for staff. Five staff warmly received their promotion and about twenty-one staff were posted in and out of the Assembly. Every year, the Human Resource Department ensures that the Assembly organizes trainings which maximizes staff knowledge and productivity.
