He emphasized that these are major roads in the Municipality already given out on contract but two structures around the Anyaa Zonal Council are hindering the progress of the work. Hon. Bashiru spoke about the warning notices made on these structures and stated clearly that they will be demolished to help with the progress of work.
Again, the MCE said in as much as some structures are impeding the developments of work, others like the Heavenly church road, the Palas town road and the Borkoborkor road are massively under construction and will be completed in no time. He also mentioned the Oduman road and Nsakina roads which have been nicely constructed with asphalt. He thanked the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo as well as the Vice President, Hon. Mahamadu Bawumia for their selflessness in helping develop the country and the Minister of Roads and Highway, Hon. Kwasi Amoako- Attah for his initiative. In a concluding statement, he assured all the people in the Municipality that he will ensure all roads are constructed before his tenure of office ends.

The Urban Roads Engineer, Mr. John Armah also mentioned the roads they have inspected so far and stated that the contractors are really working. He spoke about the Auntie Aku road, the Israel road, the road leading to Pentecost junction and the Adu Gyamfi road and stated that they will be constructed once the others are completed. He then emphasized that there are a lot of benefits we get from the construction of roads so he will make sure that with the help of the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Mohammed Bashiru Kamara all roads within the Municipality will be constructed.

A resident shared her excitement about the construction of the road in her community and thanked the MCE for addressing their developmental challenges concerning floods and road. She emphasized that with the redesigning of the underground culvert it has reduced the floods recorded for some time now and enabled the free flow of water whenever it rained.

"Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty. A nation that is afraid to let its people judge the truth and falsehood in an open market is a nation that is afraid of its people. The cost of freedom is always high"
